Persephone natural trail in Trodos.

Persephone trail is very useful for beginners walkers, starts behind the Police Station, the length is 3 km in one side with nice view at the end. We did not want to go back the same way and made a round the mountain with white ball ( GCHQ listening point). The path is approximately 9km from Trodos village square.

At the end of the path will be this rustic Anglican Church of St George.

How is Mosphilla looked?

   You can never been hungry in Cyprus. Every season you can find something to eat around you. Today i tell about fruit which is called  mosphilla. The fruits look like small berries with seed inside, grow on tn trees. Can be non very sweet, don't stop try another tree. Harvest period is autumn. My dogs like to eat mosphilla as well.

    Only on my third year in Cyprus I opened kumquat, from Сhinese language it means"golden apple". Once I bought it and thought that it was some kind of mandarins, tried to peel it. It is not necessary to clean it, you have to eat it with its skin, which is sweet. It looks like small oval mandarin, usually the price in Cyprus supermarkets near 4 Euro per kg.

For example:

A used petrol sedan vehicle is 9 months old at the time of its transfer to Cyprus from the United Kingdom and it has a mileage of 22.500 km. The cubic capacity of its engine is 1.789 CC and the carbon dioxide emissions are 184 gr/km.
The excise duty payable is initially calculated on the basis of a new vehicle and is thereafter depreciated based on the characteristics of the used vehicle:

• Initial excise duty (based on a new car with CO2 emissions of 180 gr/km): €2.250 + (4 x €400) = €3.850
• Excise duty differentiations for the used car of the example:
• 18.50% reduction on the initial excise duty because of the vehicle age (9 months) and type (sedan): €3.850 x 18,50% = €712
• 4,5% reduction on the remaining amount (€3.850 – €712 = €3.138) because of kilometers travelled over the corresponding estimated average for a petrol vehicle ((22.500–(15.000/12*9) = 22.500 – 11.250 = 11.250 km, 11.250/500 x 0.20% = 4.5%): €3.138 x 4,5% = €141
• Additional excise duty €0.02/c.c.: 1789 Χ €0.02 = €36
• Total excise duty payable: €3.850 – €712 – €141 + €36 = €3.033

   If you are looking dance studio for your daughter, I would like to recommend a school Credo with its founder and owner Svetlana Mattheou. The school was opened in Limassol in the year 2005. It offers jazz and modern, classic dance, gymnastics, Go-Go for adults. I liked its timetable, it is convenient  to working parents. The classes start not very early.

Today I tell you how to make it from ready set, which includes biscuits, chocolate powder and vermichelle, additionally you need 2 eggs, butter and milk.

 First melt the butter into the milk, then put eggs and powder mixture from the set. Stir well, finish when it becomes heavy. Add biscuits and put into the form for jelly.

You can eat it after 4-5 hours.

  Several months ago I needed to make Dental 3D x-ray before my teeth implantation. My doctor gave me contacts of one clinic where the price was 150 Euro for both jaws, then they offered me to make 1/4 of my mouth for 40 Euro. But it is impossible to make 3d x-ray only one part of my mouth,
you still get a dose of rays and then they cut from program needed part.
I like to research the Cyprus services market, sometimes you can find the difference in priced in two times.
As a result it was found a diagnostic center with very cheap fees compared with other clinics.

CT SCAN with contrast of lower abdomen is only 280 Euro.
For example: in Evangelismos Hospital in Paphos - 470 Euro, in St George Clinic in Paphos - 380 Euro.

Adventure Mountain Park and Summer Camp

  Today we explored traditional Cypriot village Kyperounda and found entertaining place Adventure Mountain Park. There are paintball, climbing, ice skating and of course cafe restaurant. Except these things we saw archery. It is fenced area not far from the village in the Madari area of Troodos forest.

In summer time park hosts Kids Adventure Camp, which is organized by Climbing Club . The kids sleep in the tent on its territory and have a lot of activities. The fee is 250 Euro for period (5 days/4 nights).

 Adventure Mountain Park is 40km from Limassol and 58km from Nicosia. The place is suitable for kids or teenagers party.
